Shawn, pictured right, is a graduate of the Electrical Power Technician program at Dodge City Community College. By completing the program he earned an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree and the following certificates: Pole Climbing Competency (40 ft & 80 ft), High Angle Rescue, and First Aid/CPR & AED. These credentials were all completed between December 2012 and May 2014.
“With my training I was able to find employment faster than someone without any experience or training. I gained tons of knowledge, which has helped me advance faster on my crew at my current job.”
“I am so glad I made the decision to attend Washburn FastTRAC program from Washburn Institute of Technology” said Kim, who graduated from the FastTRAC welding program in December 2014 and is now working full-time. Kim earned an American Welding Society SENSE Level I – Entry Welder certificate.

Dustin graduated from Washburn Institute of Technology in December 2014 with American Welding Society SENSE Level I – Entry Welder and OSHA-10 certificates. He is currently employed as a Welder and applying the skills and safety techniques he learned during the program.
